Dr. David Traver / "Biomedical Treatment of Special Needs Individuals"
Autism Spectrum Disorder rates are now at an incidence of almost 1:60, affecting approximately 1-2% of children in our country. The prevalence of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder has been estimated to be estimated to be approximately 10% of boys and girls. The rising tide of these conditions is rapidly outstripping the existing medical model for not only addressing them, but finding out why they are on such a meteoric rise. The focus of this presentation will be to translate the current observations being made in clinical settings and research studies for those affected by these conditions into ACTIONABLE testing and treatment.
