School Program

     * Established: 1969 as a nonpublic school

     * School program provides special education services for children diagnosed with autism

        spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

     * Population: referrals are from public schools

                      66 children – staff/student ratio – 1 to 1

                      Certified by theCalif. Dept of Education to serve students from 3-22 years

     * Funding is received from the public school system.

 

Adult Day Program

     * Established: 1985

     * Adult Day program provides services for adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders

        and other developmental disabilities.

     * Population: referrals come from regional centers

                       34 adults – staff/client ratio – 1 to 3

                       Licensed by the Calif. Dept. of Social Services to serve adults from 22-59 years

     * Funding is received from the regional centers.

Our mission is to help children and adults with autism or other developmental disabilities maximize their potential in a dignified, positive and loving environment.

 

Our vision is for our students and clients to remain in the community and lead a productive and happy life. We work to increase awareness about autism and to promote sharing of the latest research and information.
