Program Reminders

Parent Packets: If you haven’t done so already, please make sure to turn in your parent packet as soon as possible. It is crucial we have the most current information in order to best serve your student/client.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures: Thank you again to everyone for their collaboration in our Summer Drop-off/Pick-up trial. We received an overwhelming positive response and because of this, we will continue with this new procedure. As a reminder, please reference this schematic for directions.

Many of our students/clients can unexpectedly bolt into traffic, so please drive diligently, safely and slowly.

Volunteer Opportunities

MAC Parent Buddies: We are excited to bring back the MAC Parent Buddy Program  which pairs our more experienced parents/families with our newest families during their transition and first months at Morgan Autism Center. We are looking for parents/families who can provide support, guidance and friendship, helping our new families feel more comfortable and connected with MAC. If you are interested in signing up, please fill out the below.

Family Resource Support: In our spring meetings with families, we heard multiple asks for better access to relevant resources. While we currently provide links to the Autism Society of the Bay Area, Parents Helping Parents, and our own Parent Facebook group on our website, we would love for one of our more experienced community members to help build out a more robust set of curated resources on our website. If you are interested, please contact Lisa Lemke at lisa@morgancenter.org. 

Starry Starry Night Gala Support: As many of you know, Starry Starry Night is MAC’s largest fundraiser of the year. As a non-profit, the funds raised from this event help MAC provide crucial funding for our programs. This event requires a lot of work and we really appreciated parent participation. If you would like to join the Starry Starry Night Committee please email Haley Sepulveda at haley@morgancenter.org. More information coming soon.

Garden/Campus Clean Up: We are very excited for the upgrades to the garden and property which will be completed in the summer of 2023.  During the school year, we expect to have multiple service days to help make the garden program thrive throughout the school year as well as address other campus needs. Please email Lisa Lemke at lisa@morgancenter.org if you would be willing to help and we will reach out when those service days are scheduled.
